Medford Voice Lessons
(ages 7 and up)
Our voice and singing teachers focus on contemporary vocal techniques for singing today's popular music including rock, jazz, R&B, country, pop, musical theatre and chorus.
Students spend each singing lesson going over exercises that will help their voice improve. At the school, we record all voice lessons, so you will receive a copy of your lesson to practice with during the week. You will learn how to improve your range, reduce vocal strain, build power, develop tone and apply different vocal effects like vibrato or distortion. Some students have worked with us to help improve their speaking voices as well.
We want to help you develop your our voice and style of singing. Our instructors have backgrounds and many methods and can pull from a number of exercises to help you develop the voice you want. Our teachers are experienced in performance and songwriting skills as well.
"I find Lauren very interested and dedicated to what it is that I want to become better at as a vocalist. It always felt like she was doing a lot more, and adding a lot more value to me and my lessons than many of the other vocal teachers I've had over the last 8 years. I've always had a lot of power in my voice, but I was very weak with singing light and with a low volume. Lauren helped me develop this way of singing and now I feel that it doesn't matter in which range I sing - I sound good in all ranges. I've taken lessons for 8 years, gone through 12 vocal teachers and I feel that Lauren together with one other teacher I've had through the years have the knowledge and are not just guessing what will be good for developing my voice." - Marcus Calrzon, lead singer of Firstborn
"My daughter Jayleanna, age 8, has been studying vocal lessons since January of 2014 so only 3 months. I invested money in her taking lessons because I thought I was being biased when I would say she has a great voice but then others started telling me the same. Jayleanna now enjoys singing in front of large crowds which before she started taking lessons she never did. She has definitely come out of her shell thanks to Nicole.
LB Music School is the first place Jayleanna has taken lessons and I have emailed Lauren prior to just let her know we are so happy. Nicole shows she cares for Jayleanna. I hear the conversation they have on the recorded CD that she gives me each lesson. She will ask about school and what she planning to do, her siblings ect. which of course as a mom makes me feel good that she not only cares about the music lesson she really wants to know my daughter .
I would for sure say that my investment is worth it. Who is worth more to invest in if not your child? I have already put the word out that LB Music School by far is a great place for children to attend for lessons. Jayleanna auditioned for the Disney channel and out of 100 children was asked to come back for a call back. She then auditioned again and only 4 children were called back and Jayleanna was one of them. She sang 2 songs for the producers and we are very excited as her family to see where this takes her. As I know one day she will be on TV. We will owe it to all her supporters including everyone at LB Music. We couldn't be happier with everyone at LB Music School.
I have wanted to take voice lessons for a few years now, but I never clicked with the teachers that I met. Until I met Lauren that is! It was great that I met her when I did because I had signed up to audition for X Factor and really needed some vocal help.
There was an instant connection between us and there was no hesitation in getting straight to work. She never gave me an opportunity to be nervous or shy as we started singing right away. She put me completely at ease and from the first lesson I heard an improvement in my voice. Thanks to Lauren, I got a gold ticket from X Factor and made it until the last round!
I would highly recommend Lauren as a voice teacher. She is great and cool and very chill and the CD's that we get back of our lesson are great" - Scarlet
