Cello Lessons in Medford, MA

We have had a wonderful experience at LB Music School. Our youngest son started taking lessons via zoom during the pandemic and we've continued in that form. Katie is just the best teacher we could wish for. She understands how to teach to children (our son is currently 9). She is always joyful and supportive, her explanations are always at just the right level and pace. The twice a year concerts have also added a nice additional goal/challenge at the right moments. Highly recommend taking lessons here!

I am very happy with my music lessons as an adult student at LB Music School. I take drum lessons with Chris Laskey and he has been so supportive in helping me achieve my goals. I am left handed, with a musical background, and he has gone out of his way to tailor my lessons to my needs! He has even made several video lessons for me while I am traveling so I can watch in my own time and practice while away from home! Thanks LB Music School for getting great teachers and promoting a love of music for all ages and levels 🙂

My Son has been taking violin lessons at LB for over 4+ years. The reason we keep coming back is plain and simple.. They are great! The teachers are patient and knowledgeable in what they do and how they teach their students. My son started out with Jane Park as his teacher.. she was awesome.. then she went onto other ventures and we now have ABE.. He is amazing.. my son talks about "how cool" he is. My son feels safe, confident and eager to learn which makes me feel happy to be a part of the LB community.

Last year, that small step led me to LB Music School in Medford, and has become an incredibly positive step in my life.

I have always wanted to learn how to play the Violin, even as a kid, but life got in the way one way or another. Now, as a retired Engineer, with the encouragement of my lovely Bride, I decided to take that step, and researched music schools and individual teachers, looking for a teacher with reasonable fees and a good reputation, that teach what I want to learn. That’s where LB Music School came in.

Talking with Carolyn, at the Medford location, we discussed MY needs, skill level, and taste in music, my expectations and goals. She assured me their school was right for me, and she was right!
She set me up with the best violin teacher for my goals, Abe, and I have not looked back ever since.
Abe has been extremely helpful, always encouraging, and inspirational, and has me on the right path towards my Ultimate Dream of playing the Violin.

Please believe me, music lessons are NOT just for KIDS. In fact, I think adults get more of an immeasurable sense of satisfaction and self-confidence from achieving what seemed like an elusive goal…playing a musical instrument.
