What Age Can My Child Start Lessons?
This is a great question! Typically, students will have no problem starting private instruction around the age of 7. At this age, they will be less limited to what they can play.
For students ages 4-6, we recommend piano and violin as first instruments. ‘Singing’ lessons are possible, but we often take a more music appreciation approach with a focus on piano basics.
Can Adults Take Lessons at LB Music School?
Absolutely! Adults need music in their lives too. I actually didn’t really start diving into music until my 20s. And I currently teach students all over the world who are in the 50s, 60s and 70s. So if you have dreamed about playing an instrument or are trying to check off your bucket list, LB Music School would love to help.
Are Beginners Welcome?
I would say that most of the student who walk through our door have never touch and instrument before. You can feel very comfortable that you are in good hands and that our teachers will patiently help you learn the basics. And if you are a more experienced player looking for more guidance and structure, our qualifies teachers can help you taking your playing, singing or performing to the next level.
