Music plays a pivitol role in everyone's life. As someone who did not go to school for music, my goal with starting LB Music School was simple.
Inspire students of all ages to fall in love with music.
Music has had such a huge impact on my life, and I can see its impact through our students each and every day.
Locations
We have two convenient locations.
LB Music School in Medford opened in 2012 and is located at 243 Central Ave in Medford, MA right off the Rt. 28 the Fellsway. This school is open Monday-Friday 2pm-8:30pm and Saturdays 9am-4pm.
LB Music School in Danvers is our newest location at 156 Andover St in Danvers, MA right off Rt. 144. This location is are currently open Monday-Friday from 2pm-8:30pm.
Pricing
At LB Music School, we believe music education should not only be fun but also structured, consistent, and results-driven. Below is what your weekly private lesson includes.

What Age Can My Child Start Lessons?
We usually recommend 5 years old as a good starting point for music lessons. For kids 5-7 years olds, we usually recommend piano lessons as it is the easier instrument to play.
Once a child is about 8 years old, they can really dive into any of the instruments we offer.
These age ranges are a guideline, and we understand that there are always exceptions to these rules. If you have a younger child that really wants to learn guitar, starting them on the ukulele is an option with certain teachers.
Can Adults Take Lessons at LB Music School?
Absolutely!!! We love our adult students. As a matter of fact, about 30% of our student body consists of adults.
Many of our adult student comes after work but if you work from home, you can even take lessons late afternoon to avoid traffic.
If you have always dreamed up learning to play and instrument of sing, we want to help!
Are Beginners Welcome?
We love beginners. I would say that 95% of our students are beginners and at least 85% have never touched an instrument before.
We do have some students who took lessons a long time ago and are revisiting their instrument decades later.
Whether you are an absolute beginner or looking to take your playing or singing to the next level, are teachers can help.
