Mingjung was born in South Korea and started his musical journey at the age of 7. By 9 years old, she was entering and winning multiple music competitions. Based on her success, she received a full scholarship to one of the most prestigious colleges in Korea - Sookmyung Women’s University. She also performed with the Hyundai Philharmonic Orchestra. Mingjung understand that every student is different and her goal to help students love and appreciate music while making progress every week.
Not only is Mingjun a great violin instructor she is also a phenomenal piano and cello teacher as well.
What Age Can My Child Start Violin Lessons?
Fortunately for our violin students, Minjung is able to work with students as young as 4 years old. At LB Music School, we understand that every child is unique and are more than happy to offer a introductory lessons for students to try a lesson with Minjung before starting. If our violin teacher feels that your child is ready for private instruction, it would be her pleasure to help.
