CLASS TaUGHT BY EMILY TrubeY

Emily is an accomplished voice and piano educator who shines in stage performance . Originally from Nashua, NH, she graduated from Plymouth State University with a BA in Musical Theater Performance with a focus in Voice Studies. Beyond her acumen as an educator, Emily has an extensive performance catalog in her own right. Favorite roles include Julie Jordan in Carousel, Cinderella in Into The Woods, Maria in West Side Story, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, and Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

In addition to stage performance, Emily has excelled in several vocal competitions in New England, receiving 1st Place Winner of The Seacoast Idol Competition in 2017, recipient of the NH Theater Award for Best Actress in a Musical, and Finalist in the NATS National Musical Theater Singing Competition in 2021.

Some notable performances include Anne Frank in Annelies by James Whitbourn, singing the National Anthem at Fenway park, and multiple performances at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston.
